Mistilyn Miller

Baptiste Certified
RYT 200

Mistilyn loves movement! She has been athletic her whole life; gymnastics, water sports, running, and dance always gave her a sense of balance.

Unfortunately her ankle could not keep up with her zest for impact sports. An unsuccessful surgery and extensive physical therapy did not seem to be the answer to her immobility. Searching for some way to regain her need for physical expression, she limped into a yoga studio for the first time. After that class, Mistilyn knew yoga was the answer to reclaiming her body. Keeping up with her commitment (even sometimes going twice a day) she found the way for her mind, body, and spirit to move freely!

Having spent over 25 years coaching in the gymnastics community, Mistilyn brings a unique perspective to her classes. Her passion for movement with body alignment, shaping, and a love for teaching continues through yoga.

After completing her 200 hour training she choose to specialize Baptiste Yoga,
Baptiste Institute training:

Jo Parsons

Practicing Bikram since 2002, Jo began to practice power yoga in 2004. After her first Baptiste Power Vinyasa class, she knew she had found something life changing. That began her journey of finding and standing in her own power, and ultimately to teaching others that they can do the same! Yoga ERYT 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified, she’s been teaching since 2006. Her understanding of Hot Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga in both on how to teach them and how to make adjustments has depth that only the precious currency of time can buy. Jo's ability to connect with her students and understand their suffering, and their triumphs (emotional, physical, and spiritual) is as unique as she is. Jo always stands in her truth and encourages those who take her classes to do the same. She is a bright, shining light, and has been described as authentic, wise, funny, encouraging, and most of all loving. Having completed teacher trainings with Baron Baptiste, and an extensive hands-on assisting program with Lisa Black (TAP), Jo is also inspired by Gregor Singleton, Patrick Grey, Bernie Clark, Shiva Rea, and Bryan Kest. She brings a richness and loving nurturing presence to any yoga environment and is excited to share her love of yoga with all of you!

Ariel Williams

Ariel Ray has been teaching vinyasa yoga since 2014 and started practicing in 2012. Ariel became a Tier 2: 500 hour Baptiste Certified Teacher in February 2017, after studying with the Baptiste Yoga Institute. Ariel has also completed Shakti Vinyasa Yoga’s Teacher Mentorship Program April 2016. The supportive and encouraging Baptiste Community inspired her to give back through the service of yoga. She also received a BA in Environmental Studies focused in Society and Sustainability from the University of Washington in 2013. Anna is an energetic teacher who will bring possibility to your practice. She values connection and believes in the power of coming together, in support of each, to practice yoga. Her path to yoga began with an injury, and through continued physical, spiritual and intellectual dedication, Anna’s personal practice evolved into a call to help others. Anna has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Baptiste training and has continued her training with Bryan Kest, Lisa Black, Jason Crandell and Seane Corn. Tina Templeman

Tina Templeman has been a serious student of yoga since 1999 when a severe injury brought her to the brink of back surgery. Since yoga was such a large part of her back rehabilitiation, in 2007 she made the decision to become a yoga instructor herself. Early on in her yogic journey she has trained in the 5 Tibetan Rites and deep meditations of OSHO’s Dynamic & Kundalini meditations. But is was the love and joy of self-discovery within the strength, flow and philosophy of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga that made her decision to become 200 hour RYT Certified Baptiste Yoga instructor having completed Levels 1, 2 and 3 Baron Baptiste’s Teacher Trainings. Tina has also trained with Yoga Master Teachers Ana Forrest and has completed 2 modules of Shiva Rea’s teacher trainings. By using creative sequencing as well as the spiritual focus that Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga offers, Tina’s technique challenges the yoga practitioner to stretch both mentally and physically, on and off the mat.

Tina is licensed massage therapist and has her own massage practice. She brings massage related muscle awareness to her yoga classes and consciousness of body movement to empower students to be successful at any level. This expertise coupled with 20 years of ballet, dance and an extensive background in fitness and personal training make Tina's classes challenging, fun, and energetic for every level of student.
