A daily combination of asana practice, meditation, healthy diet, community, and personal reflection will cultivate a solid foundation from which students can live and grow. Regardless of your level of experience, this program will reveal mental clarity, lightness of body, and an illumination of spirit. Whether you are looking for huge transformation or small positive shifts in your life, this inspiring program motivates students to live from a higher level of well-being. The creator of the 40 Days to Personal Revolution program, Baron Baptiste -- one of the world's most beloved master yoga teachers -- inspires us to transform more than body and mind. This program gives us the tools we need to set ourselves free to live the healthful life we've always imagined. In the 40 days program you will create a whole new way of being and living.
The 40 Days program is based on timeless principles of growth, which serve as the philosophical underpinnings of this 40-day journey and demonstrate that radical change can come from making even the smallest shift. The program itself is divided into six weeks, with the seventh day of each week devoted to active rest. Each week builds on the lessons of the one preceding it and includes:
ASANA PRACTICE: Attend 6 days/week of asana classes at any SHAKTI location. The 7th day is a restorative home practice, optional yoga class, or day of rest.
DAILY MEDITATION: receive instruction on how to begin and deepen a meditation practice at home.
WEEKLY MEETINGS: gather together to meditate, journal, discuss, learn, check-in, and receive personal and group support and insight during the program.
FOOD CLEANSE: learn principles to cleanse your body, along with a specific eating plan. Maintain a focus on dietary awareness, discovering & practicing a vibrant new health for the physical body, including a three day fruit cleanse.
INQUIRY/REFLECTION: practice personal inquiry and discussion, complete excavation questions to root out limiting beliefs and patterns
COMMUNITY: meet like-minded people, create meaningful connections, make new friends, feel a part of a healthy learning environment, laugh and have fun!

Vision 101: Asana and Vision Setting

Are you ready to make a shift? Do you want to be in action on a new vision, and you feel like you don't you have the time? Join Nicole Tsong and take on 2019 with clear intention! Vision 101 is designed to take the stress out of setting your vision and turn it into a practice that creates time, energy and inspiration. This New Year workshop will include a cleansing yoga practice, introduce key concepts to creating a clear and inspiring vision, and time to create vision boards for 2019 and beyond. It's time to get crafty! Bring your mat, your towel, journal and pen, and your creative spirit to start this year fresh and inspired!
Yin and Yoga Nidra

Join Jo for a 2 hour Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra workshop. Improve your flexibility, release stress, and feel more relaxed with enhanced positive energy. Practice will include long-held Yin postures, mindfulness meditation, and guided Yoga Nidra (sleep of the yogis!) You will feel deeply nourished, restored, and inspired. Students encouraged to bring an eye pillow and their favorite blanket for Nidra.
Find Freedom to Fly!

Join Emily and explore new ways to be on your hands. Arm balancing can be joyful, fun, and completely liberating. These postures require all of your body parts to work together as a team, especially the core, but are way more fun than ab workouts! We’ll learn and review the setup and helpful hints to achieve a variety of arm balances. If you have always wanted to try these challenging poses, this workshop is the perfect time to go slow and safely explore flying!
